Children’s Poll

In celebration of Mother’s day, we polled 52 AWANA kids about their mommies.

Many had so many emotions about their mommies, they could only smile and say, “She’s nice.”—Anna (7), Tucker (5), Coyer (4), and Elsa (5).
Others could branch out.

Some loved the affection their mommies gave.

For several others, some interesting thoughts came to mind when they thought about their love for their mommies.

She is smart.—Jacob, 8
That my mom is in Awana.—Emily, 8
She’s short.—Anna, 4
I like her dresses.—Chloe, 4
She can do anything.—Luke, 4 (This reporter has a witness that her son really said this without coercion.)

This final group loves their moms, no doubt, but we suspect they may have ulterior motives.
Because she plans my birthday parties really good.—Noah, 5
She lets me have candy A LOT.—Ellie, 7
My mom loves me, and she is super nice, and she spoils me.—Kimberly, 9
