Every year in August we have the privilege to register our children, birth through 5th grade, in Pulpit Rock’s amazing children’s ministry program. The dates this year will be August 10, 17 and 24 with August 31st being promotion Sunday (and the unveiling of the new kids’ program, too!).
During this time, parents, non-parent, pre-parents, post parents and just-like-to-be-around kids-parents will be given choices in the involvement of their time with our children! There will be representatives of all aspects of children’s ministries to talk with to help you decide where to “own” part of the ministry! The GREAT thing about PRC’s Children’s ministry is that ANYONE can get involved! There are many areas to serve—all of which show the importance of our children’s spiritual development, modeled to our children.
Serving is NOT just simple involvement. It reflects the relationship YOU have with our Lord, Jesus Christ. It shows our kids that your love of Christ is not just manifested in talk but in deed as well. In the same way we show up for our kids’ sports and plays and recitals we show the importance of their spiritual heritage by “showing up” for this, too! The WONDEROUS thing about this ministry is that YOU get to create a legacy for your children by being “the heart and hands of Christ” by just BEING THERE! What a marvelous opportunity for everyone! And it only takes about 1 hour per month! Not a bad return on your investmentJ
So…I hope everyone will have a chance to come over and talk to our eager representatives from Nursery, Preschool, AWANA, Elementary Kids Ages, Support Services and Special Events! It will be nice to see your smiling faces and hear where YOU would like to be a part of our children’s spiritual heritage!
Registration is required for ALL children who will be participating in 2010-2011 Children's Ministry programs.
