Apr. 4 Easter	New Life in Jerusalem Mark 15:21-16:8; John 20:10-18	Jesus’ death and resurrection were the fulfillment of God’ promise of salvation.	Romans 6:4  “Just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”	John 15:13  “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.”
Apr. 11	Jesus’ Farewell Promise Matt. 28:16-20; Acts 1:1-11	Because Jesus is alive, we know He will keep His promise to be with us now and forever.	Matt. 28:20  “[Jesus said,] ‘Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”	Matt. 28:20  “[Jesus said,] ‘Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”
Apr. 18	God’s Family Grows Acts 2	God’s gift of the Holy Spirit made it possible for the family of believers to grow as they showed God’s love and care. Apr. 25	A Lame Man Walks Again Acts 3:1-16	Giving to others doesn’t depend on how rich we are because Jesus helps us give more than money.	Ephesians 5:2  “Live a life of love, just as Christ loved us.”	Matt. 28:20  “[Jesus said,] ‘Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”
